Her four-month leadership of Labour at Holyrood has been dogged by the row over her acceptance of an illegal campaign contribution from a Jersey-based businessman, a story first broken in the Sunday Herald.
United Way pushes for 211 money
It's still a bit of a secret in Whatcom County, but calling 211 can help in an emergency. The number to call in times of life-threatening trouble is still 911. But the state's United Way officials are asking the Legislature to boost funding for 211, which they say can help people take care of the problems that unfold in the days after a lifethreatening emergency. The 211 system, which connects callers to social services ranging from homeless housing to education help, currently receives $1 million each biennium from the state, said Peter Theisen, president of United Way of Whatcom County. Another $750,000 would help the system respond more effectively to natural disasters like last fall's severe floods in southern Washington, Theisen said. United Way officials hope the line item will be included in the proposed emergency flood and storm relief budget.

Times change people and with changing times comes new ideas. And crying over the new KITT absolutley ludicrous. IT'S NOT REAL PEOPLE!! The mustang is a PERFECT choice for the new KITT not only because of styling but also because of it's availibility. The Trans Am was discontinued in 2002 for good reason. It's popularity had sunk so low that GM had no alternative. Same story w/ the Camaro, not to mention they're pieces of crap. As for the corvette, yes it's still a popular, mass-produced, vehicle. But do you think NBC is gonna shell money for 10 corvettes or however many they'd go thru in a show? Much less a season? I highly doubt it. Fact is NBC made a decision and they're sticking w/ it. You wanna change it? Become a network president and change it. If not, quit crying about it. Because as many of you "purists" there are, there's a lot more people out there who are gonna want to check the new continuation of the show who watched the show when they were kids, and their kids are gonna watch and the newer version of the same rollercoaster ride is going to be as good if not better than the 1st.

Indeed, the last update of mineral resources realized on the mineralized zones of the previous Renzy Lake open pit mine (dated November 26th, 2007) had estimated the indicated mineral resource at 92,000 tonnes averaging 0.65 % copper and 0.63 % nickel, for 1.32 million pounds of copper and 1.28 million pounds of nickel metal, while the inferred mineral resources had estimated at 513,000 tonnes averaging 0.75 % copper and 0.64 % nickel, for 8.48 million pounds of copper and 7.24 million pounds of nickel metal. These mineral resources are contained in mineralization that occurs from the surface to a vertical depth of 70 meters (see Matamec press release dated September 26th, 2007 and December 11th, 2007). In relation to this revision of mineral resources, a re-interpretation of all of the geophysical surveys completed from 1956 to 2005 was made in order to better define geophysical and geological targets.
